Description:  This robot is made for the Trinity College Fire-Fighting Robot competition. The robots must autonomously find and put out a candle. This robot uses a Super Cricket, a robotic brain, to run the entire robot. There are two distance sensors. They are used to "look" at walls. One is on the front and is used to see walls in front and one is on the left side so the robot can follow the left wall and get around the course. There are two touch switches in the front as a fail-safe incase my front sensor fails. There is a fan mounted on the robot that has a IR sensor next to it. The robot "sees" the light with the IR sensor and will turn on the fan to blow the flame out. There are white, plastic guards that prevent the sensors or wheels from getting caught on walls or corners. A D battery four pack keeps everything powered. Other than that, there isn't much else to say... so leave your comments and whatever and have a nice day.

Even though you cant see it, Gold Fire is blowing out the candle!
